Student alarms are used to track work completion and progress, as well as attendance and teacher contacts in Connexus. Escalation types (alarms) are all outlined in the school handbook in further detail.
Alarms are set by the Pearson Online Classroom and Advisors help to manage them.
Contacts
At least once every 2 weeks a contact is required. This is a phone or text conversation (must be multiple messages) or attending a group or 1-1 live lesson. Webmails do not count!

Participation/Lessons
This alarm measures how many lessons you have completed vs. how long you have been enrolled. If you are in participation/lessons alarm, that means that you are likely not on track with your lesson completion and need to catch up.

Assessments
You need to complete your work regularly otherwise you will get an assessment alarm. If you do not turn work in for an extended amount of time, you may be withdrawn.

Attendance
This alarm occurs when you do not have enough attendance hours logged. This will happen if a Learning Coach has forgotten to take attendance or you do not have enough hours.
